Bio
I am Irene Rockabilly Mafia Dolls SGV Chapter President aka Vivi Sweets. Besides that I am a believer of God a mother ,girlfriend and dedicated graveyard worker assisting the elderly who genuinely loves all these important area's in my life that makes me who I am.
Giving back to my community is a huge role in my life on a daily bases if I am not collecting donations or planning our next fundraising event I'm doing something to prepare for it. I am very blessed to have the support of my sisterhood, family , friends ,people & business owners in my area who help make all of this possible. Their encouragement & team work is more then I could ask for.RMDSGV just celebrated our 3yr Chapter Anniversary & I look forward to many more years of service.I have built amazing life time friendships with others I've helped or people who have dedicated their time to the cause, such as the general public, vendors, venues, schools, churches, resource centers to name a few. You gain that closeness & bond that you can count on others and it's purely from the heart. My sisterhood has given me the spirit I may have lost once before back.

I am the baby of my family & life has been a challenge for me since I lost my mother in a car accident in 1994 .I was only 17yrs old then with a life ahead of me. At that age I had to figure out life for myself as a women. My father has always pushed us to do better & set goals even of his vision wasn't always my vision. I focused on working hard since 16 moved out just before my 18th Birthday alone to figure out the world for myself & haven't been back since. I' had awesome employers over this time but after being laid off after 10yrs I went back to Collage & graduated with honors. To me that was something I never thought would be possible, but being a single mother with a daughter to support it gave me the strength needed to accomplish a goal I laid to rest many years ago. For my daughter nothing was impossible. Her story alone has always given me the ability to push on. My Delilah was born at 29 weeks and weighed 2lbs 4oz born a twin but the only survivor. From day one I could see the fight for life in her & that's all I needed to uplift myself from any challenges in life. It was no longer about me it was about her. It's still about it. There's no love like the love between a mother and child.

We are active members of Faith Community Church in West Covina. Our church has given our little family the foundation it needs to grow together, strong & in faith. I have be there 2yrs now after being introduced to the grievance classes there when my mother's 20th angel anniversary was approaching. My boyfriend thought it would be helpful to finally deal with everything & boy was he right. I was able to express myself without guilt & finally start to grieve over all the events in my past & embrace my figure to where I am today. I gave back to my church in thanks by volunteering as a greeter for a few months till my work shift changed . After two years from our first visit at Faith we we're baptized recently August 14 2016. This is another life changing experience for me. It has brought me closer to God, family ,friends, my sisterhood and all the charity I do. We are all here for a purpose and I see mine is of gods giving hand. So I serve by doing my daily job as a caregiver for the elderly & leading the beautiful giving women in my sisterhoods Chapter.

Special thanks goes out to my boyfriend Ronnie who has been such a great supporter in my life. He has brought so much joy, memories, love & has even extended the love of his family ,son his girlfriend & their daughter. I couldn't be more greatful to share my life will all of them.

This is my story & I would appericate your support & donations for this wonderful cause. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio.

Sincerely, Irene Gomez
