Tell us why you’re thankful for your pet(s)
PJ keeps me healthy. We walk, play, talk, groom, eat healthy food together. She is very much a big part of our family. She stops me when my heart is acting up and flops on and warms body parts that hurt.

Plus, she has super hearing—she tells us someone is there before the Ring does! Mostly, though, she is a bundle of pure joy, bringing her toys to outings or even to the food and water bowls.

What shelter or rescue did you adopt your pet from?
She was a private adoption for a gentleman who had to go to assisted living. We were home checked twice, by surprise.

They wanted to see if she had toys and luckily toys were everywhere.
