Bobby Joe's story is all too familiar - he lived the first year of his life alone, chained, and neglected by his former family. I was blessed to be chosen to be his new mom by his foster family who loved him dearly. This goofy, clownish boy wakes each morning, filled with joy to see what the new day will bring, and demonstrates how thankful we should all be just to be alive! The depth of the love I feel for Bobby Joe is beyond my ability to articulate, and I will be forever grateful for his presence in my life.
