Why my pup is special (120 words)
Howdy, I’m Tex! I’m 13 years old, but I still act and play like a puppy. I'm a piebald red miniature dachshund with bright blue eyes. When I was 9, I broke my leg and had to have surgery at the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center. It was tough, but I made a full recovery. Four years later, you’d never know it happened! I’m deaf, but that doesn’t stop me from living life to the fullest. I love squeaky toys, burrowing under blankets, and making people laugh. Wherever I go, I bring smiles—because life’s just more fun that way!
