Why my pup is special (120 words)
Darcy sat quietly in the Rutherford County shelter as I looked for a pup to adopt. Our eyes met and the connection was sealed. Darcy loved to go flying off the back porch in pursuit of her sworn enemy, the Grey Squirrel. She passed quietly in her sleep in 2018.
