PAW Team provides volunteer-powered veterinary care and pet supplies to the pets of people who are experiencing houselessness or extreme poverty in our community.

PAW (Portland Animal Welfare) Team's mission is to save lives, alleviate suffering, and keep pets and people together by providing free and low-cost veterinary care to the pets of people experiencing houselessness or extreme poverty. PAW Team helps ensure that families do not have to choose between providing care for their pet and affording rent, groceries, or tending to their own medical needs. With the support of all volunteer veterinarians, PAW Team’s medical program provides essential wellness care and ongoing treatment for over 1,200 families each year.
Here are examples of the impact that a gift can make:
$15 can cover the cost of a pet's wellness package including vaccines and a microchip.
$25 can provide medication to treat a dog's ear infection.
$50 can give a pet medication for a month of relief from severe skin allergies.
$100 can purchase Rabies vaccines for 100 pets.
