McLovin was found as a stray in New Mexico with a face and mouth full of porcupine quills. He received veterinary care and remained in the shelter, in hopes an owner would claim him. No one stepped forward. McLovin was a shelter favorite among the staff and volunteers, though his time was running out. He was transported out of state by a local rescue group and later adopted. McLovin requires training and work, but he is more than worth it. He is a marshmallow that melts hearts and has love to give for days. He is an outstanding advocate of his breed and continues to improve daily through training and exercise.
