Buba is my tried and true good ol boy. He came from death row at the socorro shelter when he was 3 yrs old. I was unemployed at the time and could not even afford his adoption fee. But there was something about him that told me he was my dog. A volunteer at the shelter paid for his neuter and they waived his adoption fee. He is now 10 years old and has been a loyal friend and companion everyday. He saved me from a mugger once and even scared off a burglar. He is the smartest dog I've ever known, knows every trick and command in the book and I swear sometimes there is a person inside that brain of his. I love him more than words can express.
