About Us

Positive Paws is a 501c3 nonprofit in the state of New Mexico. All donations and entry fees are tax deductible.

The mission of Positive Paws Rescue & Transport is to alleviate the problem of shelter overpopulation in New Mexico and to reduce the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals by providing resources and creative solutions to municipal shelters such as fostering, advocating, transporting, sheltering, spaying, neutering and adoption programs. 

We rescue 1,000 animals per year by providing foster homes, adoption opportunities, transports and vet care. We are opening our first facility in March for adoptions, boarding, training, daycare, dog wash as well as thrift and retail products.
