When Banjo’s picture was posted online by the Potter League, I knew right away he was for us. He was in rough shape, but he had a light in his eye -no pun intended - that showed just how smart he is. As a feral rescue, he had a very difficult kittenhood that included eye surgery, deep infections, and many trips to the vet. He did not trust people at all and spent his first two weeks inside a dark closet. Once he came out, he added kitten hijinks and silly energy to our house, and used our older cat Remus as his best friend and chew toy. Today he is a handsome pirate who watches cat TV (looking at birds out the window), keeps our new shelter kittens in line, and sleeps at our feet at night. We adore him.
