Max is a 6-year old (we think) Boxer/Shepherd mix rescue. While we were not in the market for a new dog, he stole our hearts when we first met him at an adoption event that we attended with friends, and he literally hugged us. He's gone from a rail-thin, scared-of-affection-and-everything runt of the litter (where all the other dogs stole his food) to a super-confident, healthy, and HAPPY dog that everyone loves. He's the goofiest, most protective, 65 pound lap dog one could ever meet. Prepared to run out and "greet" encroaching delivery trucks, this lovable beast is regularly frightened by a stiff breeze, and gets bullied around by our 20 lb. cocker-spaniel. Vote for Max so he can feel reassured that he's still one of the BEST dogs in Cranston.
