I got this chicken in a batch of six. She was always really shy around me so it was hard to think of a good name for her, then I decided on the name Mercy because it seemed like a sweet name. Recently she lost one of her sisters, so I thought she would be wary of me when I went out to do a photo shoot with her but she went right up to the camera so I could get a cute shot of her.
