After purchasing a new home after a couple of months my wife wanted a dog. I was in the military for 24 years and separated by either duty stations or deployment to foreign countries. I retired from the Army and felt this was a very small request for all the support she had given me. We had looked at potters league for a rescue and found a five year old chion (Papillon Chihuahua mix) called Isabella. We call her Izzy for short. She has been wonderful. We take she paddle boarding and loves going on motorcycle rides with myself and my wife. I couldn’t think of a day whiteout her.
