Tanner is a rescue from P.R. He had a rough start in this world, and there are still moments when he needs to know he is safe, and so very loved. But isn't that the way for everyone?
He loves to zoom in his backyard, bark up the wrong tree at stubborn squirrels, stomp on his brother cat Tucker, and annoying poke me with his nose when he wants attention. Poke Poke Poke!!! He can be a "tough guy", strongly dislikes that "Brown Truck" , indecisive with cookies, and an ear chewing, leg munching monster to his stuffy toys.
He loves bedtime, often standing in the middle of the living room, staring at us when HE wants to go to bed. I never knew dogs could "grumble"!!
And then, after the bedtime cookie is mere crumbs under the covers, brother cat is protecting the world from shadows and catnip mousies, covers are pulled up tight and good nights kissed....Tannie will circle around and push close into my side.
There's no better feeling in my world. We've got you little guy, and he "has" us!
