A short paragraph about your awesome pet
Freckles stole the heart of everyone. I adopted him when he was two he lived a true Bassett Hound life getting into everything,eating any and everything because he always thought he was hungry. Freckles had a true Bassett Hound howl that everyone could hear and got your attention.

Freckles was the co pilot S my daughter Beth learned to drive,he went on walks with her until she decided to walk over a mile. Freckles said no not today and planted himself firmly on the ground where she had to carry him all the way home. She was preparing him to walk in the heart walk with us where he was ok as long as everyone had treats to give him and he stayed away from the water (no bath for me)

When I remarried Freckles moved to Kansas with us and was there with me every night while my husband was away at work where we watched movies and sometimes took a trip to Sonic or Dairy Queen for a treat.

Freckles passed away just one week before Valentine's Day where he crossed the rainbow bridge while we held him. He got up one last time to kiss me then laid down in my arms.

A peice of me left with him that night after 12 years. Freckles picture and his ashes are here in our living room where a shelf has been dedicated to him with a canvas print of him in his heart walk shirt is displayed.

This picture was our first Christmas in our new house where he helped me decorate our first small tree he says I am your present mom and dad.
