Prairie Paws Animal Shelter is pleased to announce our Pet Photo Fundraising Contest. The contest will allow participants to upload digital photos of their beloved companion and share a brief silly or heartwarming story.
The contest will award prizes to entrants whose pictures and accompanying narratives are voted to be the best by viewers through donation voting. Beginning September 1

link and click on enter, upload your photo, add your contact info and your comments (see rules) and vote often. Encourage your friends and family to vote often. The money rasied benefits the homeless shelter pets.
1) Submit your pet's photo for Free beginning September 1, 2019 starting at 9:00am.
2) The contest is open to anyone, any pet, in any location and it does not have to be an animal from PPAS. We love all pets!
3) Information that should be included with your pet's photo:
- Name of Pet(s)
- Your Name
- Your City & State
- A short paragraph telling us why you think your pet is awesome.
4) Photos are displayed on the website for voting until 9:00 PM (Central Time), September 30, 2019 Voting Closes at 9:00pm (Central Time) that day
5) Votes are $1.00, minimum of 5 votes per transaction
6) Photos may contain more than one pet
7) All photos must be uploaded, we cannot accept hard copies.
8) You may enter as many photos as you want, however spreading the votes out from multiply entries may limit your chance of winning
9) Each $1.00 donation counts as 1 vote
10) There is a 5 vote minimum donation - $5 ($1/vote)
11) When you donate to vote, your will receive a "bank" of votes that then need to be applied to the entries you wish to vote for. You can place all votes on one entry or spread them out on other entries
12) You can email links to family/friends to encourage voting for your pet's photo
13) All submitted photos become property of PPAS to be used at their discretion for any and all marketing purposes
14) We will be accepting entries and donation votes through 9:00 PM (Central Time), September 30, 2019. Voting Closes at 9:00pm (Central Time) that day
15) All donation are non-refundable
16) PPAS is a 501 (c) (3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.
17) The email acknowledgement reply to your online donation serves completely as your tax receipt.
18) Mailed paper tax acknowledgements must be requested specifically by emailing
joy.beatty@prairiepaws.org 19) Important: If your submission is low resolution or poor quality, your image may be excluded or you may be asked for a better quality image. 300 dpi or higher in TIFF or JPG format
20) We cannot accept copyrighted professional photographs. Please only include animals in your pictures, no humans.
