Pet's Bio or Story
One cold bitter winter I brought a small kitten inside and pleaded with my parents to let me keep it, my friends staying by my side to help me convince them. For a while the decision was touch and go and, eventually , I was allowed to have this wonderfuly rude cat. In the first month of his stay his gender was debated and, for a while, his name was zoey. Yes, shane had a hard life that first while, but he was as sweet as he could be.
However , when I realized he was boy, he realized his true nature. My snow white cat with beautfuil different colored eyes found more satisfaction in disturbing the peace then being petted. He found a friend in our dog kibbles and both of them proceeded to drive us up the wall with their arguments, fights, and plots against us. They both had jobs on how to keep strangers from our home and his was to apparently wait till our guest were asleep and spray everything they loved. He would also pretend to play nice with them and gain their trust before biting down on the unexpecting victims hands.
We hoped that getting him fixed would mellow him out and let him be more accepting of others. Article after article claimed he would become calm and a affectionate cat which just made is all the Kore excited to get the job done. When the time came he gave the vet a run for their money, me and my mother having to go through restricted areas to help them catch him after he busted from his cage and decided he didn't feel like having the surgery done. Unforntaly for him there was no where else to go and we got him in his respected cage. Exctiment filled us as we took him home, hopeful of a slightly less destructive cat.. Months later we realize that maybe its just who he is. Nothing changed in his actions no matter what we did or what advice we took from the internet..so, there was nothing else to do but accept the fact he hates posing for pictures (shocked that I could get this one) and that he would always be a little rough when it came to affection.
But, despite the scars and ruined objects throughout the home, I wouldn't trade him for the world. I tried to get him to pose with a stuffed animal that looked like him...unfortunately he didn't find it flattering so the poor dear is on the floor, which is why I posted his small story instead.
