Pet's Bio or Story
Hi! I'm Indi. I'm 8-months old and love what I know of this world so far. I came to live with my human Mom when I was 7-weeks old. She hadn't had a pet of her own in 20-years. She was very excited to bring me home and I was very excited she picked me out of all the dogs she saw. Don't tell anyone, but I think she was just as nervous as I was our first few nights together. It was a big new world for both of us! Now though, she loves me as much as I love her! I wag my little Boxer tail so hard when she comes home from work and I get all of her attention in the evening!

My favorite things to do are to go for car rides (only the ones where I have the backseat all to myself), go for walks with my neighbors Roxie and Oakley, play with my toys (especially boxes and empty water bottles), explore the country-life at my Grandma and Grandpa's house, and to sleep anywhere that I can be touching my Mom (did someone say couch?). I know I'm spoiled as an only pup in the house, but it's soooo fun!!!

I have an awesome dog walker who comes to let me out to stretch and play in the afternoon, and sometimes I even get to play real hard with other dogs at doggie day care. They even have little swimming pools there for me to relax in!!!

The last week of August was a hard week for me. I got nipped by another dog while playing and then I got a piece of my toy stuck in my belly and had to have surgery. It was miserable. I'm getting used to this cone I have to wear while healing and I can hardly even tell I have 40+ staples holding my belly together right now. I can't wait until they're removed and I can play like normal again! Only a few more days!!!

I'm trying to remember all the things I've learned so far in my short life. I know how to sit, shake, heal and lay down on command, but sometimes I get confused and they all jumble together when we have company or when I see the treat bag in Mom's hand. Sometimes I'm even so confused and excited that I just end up rolling around on the floor!

I know I'm cute and I try real hard to not use my good looks and fun spirit to get by with things! 😉 I've even got friends who like my pictures and care about me from all around the world. I hope I get to meet them all in person and share my puppy kisses with them someday. I really hope you all vote for me to win this contest! I promise I'll be a good dog and keep entertaining my Mom. I'm even learning how to protect her and bark when I hear strange noises! I just love life and want to bring as much happiness to you all as I can! I think I'm human sometimes and would love to be able to vote in this contest, but I can't and I'm just relying on you all to do the voting instead.
