Pet's Story or Bio
Maddie was abandoned as a puppy - her owners moved and left her. She lived on the loose for a few months, sleeping in the crawlspace under the house (more like a shack). Neighbors complained, but animal control couldn't catch her. A dedicated dog lover got involved, and on the 5th attempt - using a hot dog with a sedative - picked her up. She was rushed into emergency surgery - her puppy collar had grown into her neck. No one wanted to adopt her because she totally shut down.
