Welcome to the first ever Dogs & Cats of Old Ottawa South Photo Contest!
The winners will be featured in a 2021 calendar that you can pre-order through this site.
Our goal for this photo contest is to raise $5,000 toward the Project SANDbox initiative of rebuilding a beautiful new and natural playground for the kindergarten students of Hopewell Avenue Public School. The yard will have proper drainage, an accessible surface of wood chips and feature natural play elements like wood huts and trees.
It is easy to participate (and you don't have to live in Old Ottawa South to do so)! Submit your favourite photo of your dog or cat, then vote for your pet and invite your family and friends to vote for your pet, too! The more votes your pet receives the closer they are to winning the contest!

Prizes
The top 12 pets with the most votes will be featured on one of each month in the 2021 Dogs & Cats Calendar of Old Ottawa South, and the winning pet will get their choice of calendar month AND be on the front cover of the calendar! Plus, all photo entries with 10 votes or more are GUARANTEED inclusion in the calendar or on the collage pages!
