Shirley

A little about me...
I adopted Shirley from Providence in 2022 because she was the shyest girl at the shelter. She hid in the corner of her pink cat house; her yellow eyes wide and scared. I gently approached her for some good scratches. She did biscuits on my hand and I knew that with a little love, we could be best friends. I brought her home and in just a few months time, she went from hiding in the shadows of my bedroom curtains, to being my shadow.

A year later my son was born, and now he has taken my place as her best friend. She watches over him all day and night, pushes his swing and even cuddles with my baby.. I mean HER baby. I can’t thank Providence enough for rescuing our Shirley sweetheart.
