Rescue Story
Sophie (5) & Sadie (3) were two of the eleven pugs rescued on the 4th of July 2022 from an unpleasant situation. Living in filth and subjected to a life of breeding. One single photo posted of Sophie unfolded a chain of events that lead to not only Sophie being adopted, but a chance for Sadie to be as well. On September 2, 2022, the girls embarked on a new journey to their forever home. Finally getting a chance to trust, to be loved, to have a family, and to just be a pug. What a happy ending for the two of them, not only because they were adopted, but because they got to stay together, mom and daughter. The girls are inseparable and truly a wonderful addition to our family. As we approach the 4th of July this year to celebrate our own freedoms, the girls also get to celebrate 1 year of their own freedom. Freedom to live as they wish. To live for the day, the hour, even the moment. Thanks to the Pug Rescue for being the voice for those that don't have one.
