Rescue Story
The Rutledges are longtime members of our pug rescue crew — but after saying goodbye to their beloved 16-year-old Zoey, their home (and hearts) felt a little too quiet.

They applied to adopt again but hadn't found their perfect match and then came Pugsgiving… and BAM 💥 they met Kiwi. Instant connection. Love at first sight. She came home and took charge like she’d always been there.

🐶🐶 But wait — what’s better than one pug? TWO pugs! A few weeks later, Bruce joined the party and is Kiwi's perfect sidekick. Now the Rutledge house is full of zoomies, snuggles, and synchronized snoring.
Kiwi and Bruce are living their best lives — and the Rutledges say their hearts (and laps) are full again. 🐾 ❤️ 🐾 ❤️
