Meet Bowser – Third Time’s the Charm

Bowser’s journey started with rejection. He was purchased on Craigslist by a family who quickly decided he was “too hyper” and kept him crated most of the time. Despite spending lots of money on training, they gave up on him and surrendered him to Coastal Pug Rescue—his second rehoming before his second birthday.
What Bowser needed was a family who understood pugs and would love him for exactly who he is.
In January 2025, he found just that. After losing our two previous pugs—one a special needs rescue and the other a beloved companion of 15 years—we were finally ready to open our home again after 4 years.
Bowser filled that pug shaped hole in our hearts and he now has what every dog deserves: a forever home where he is cherished, spoiled, and truly part of the family.
