Rescue Story
Phoebe and Elliot were rescued by PRFG at just two weeks old from an outdoor shed in the freezing cold of January. Their sweet mama, painfully thin and without access to food, may have been scavenging the streets just to survive—and to care for her four beautiful pups. Miraculously, all survived and went on to find loving furever homes.

We feel incredibly lucky that Phoebe and Elliot came to us as fosters. They arrived just a few months after we said goodbye to our precious girl, Miso Puggie, who brought us joy for 17 and a half wonderful years. When these tiny pups came into our lives at three weeks old—the same age Miso was when we first met her 18 years ago—we couldn’t help but feel she had a paw in sending them our way, from across the rainbow bridge.

Phoebe, a feisty and affectionate little girl, reminds us so much of our beloved Miso Puggie. Her boisterous brother Elliot, is adorably expressive and melts into you like butter when it’s cuddle time. They have filled our home—and hearts—with new joy right when we needed it most.
