Rescue Story
We lost our pug Toby after he finally succumbed to complications from a heart issue. Very ironic since he had the biggest heart and never met a stranger. We were heartbroken but starting to embrace flexibility to travel without the need of petsitters or finding pet friendly restaurants. This freedom didn't last because we felt such a big empty void and knew there was a dog that needed us as much as we needed him. Luckily we were able to adopt Beans because he needed to be an only dog because of severe anxiety. He has been with us for a little over 6 months and we love him so very much. He's doing well anxiety wise and has traveled from Florida to Maine as we vacation this summer. He's having a great day at Portland, Maine in this photo. There's never a dull day with Beans!
