Rescue Story
Lola Belle was removed from a puppy mill with her siblings to a shelter. She was adopted by a couple, who already had two dogs, and she was not getting along with them: being aggressive over food and toys. They placed her on an adoption site, and I had been looking to possibly adopt a dog after my husband’s hip surgery, but when I saw a pug on an adoption site, I knew that is rare that they didn’t want money for her. I reached out to them letting them know I had had 4 other pugs, and the rest of it is history. She is deaf, but has learned signs and is a Velcro pug, which I love. If I am sitting, she is in my lap or on the chair next to me, touching me. She sings to us when we return home from being gone, even tho she can’t hear herself or us. She KNOWS she is loved. 💗
