Rescue Story
In February 2025, we decided our pug Katy (left) needed a friend. She had always been the center of attention, but we could tell she was lonely and would benefit from having a companion. That’s when Rosie (right) came into our lives.

From the moment we brought Rosie home, it was clear they were meant to be together. Katy and Rosie bonded almost instantly, becoming best friends from day one. What started as a rescue quickly became a perfect match. They are truly two peas in a pod.

Today, the two of them are inseparable. Whether they’re racing around the yard in a burst of pug zoomies, following each other from room to room, or curling up together at the end of the day, they do everything side by side. Every night, they snuggle together in our bed, content just being near one another.

Rosie has brought so much joy, laughter, and personality into our home. She keeps us entertained with her quirky antics, expressive face, and endless affection. More importantly, she gave Katy the companionship we hoped for and so much more.

When we rescued Rosie, we thought we were helping a dog find a home. What we didn’t realize was how much she would enrich our lives in return. Watching the bond between Rosie and Katy has been one of the greatest gifts, and we simply cannot imagine our family without her.

Rosie may have come to us as a rescue, but she rescued a little piece of our hearts, too.
