Rescue Story
On July 3rd, I was driving home when I saw what I thought was a monkey in the middle of the road. As I got closer, I realized it was a pug in terrible condition. She was skin and bones, had a massive hernia, and showed signs of recently having puppies.

I took her in, gave her a flea bath, and contacted the Florida/Georgia Pug Rescue. On July 5th, I took her to the vet, and the rescue asked if I could foster her for two weeks.

By the end of those two weeks, I had completely fallen in love with Lolita. With lots of medication, love, and care, she began to gain weight and heal.

Two years later, Lolita is my antidepressant. She makes sure I wake up every morning with kisses, looks after her furry siblings, and loves spending time with my mom. The two hernias caused by years of overbreeding were surgically repaired, and she now maintains a healthy weight.

Lolita is the best travel companion and a wonderful friend. She is wicked smart, incredibly sweet, and brings joy to everyone she meets.
