Rescue Story
Max came to me March of 2016 as a foster and he had very little use of his back legs from a fall 3 years prior. His owner had passed away and the family had large dogs and they were afraid he would get hurt. He never left....on his 3 year anniversary I made it official and foster failed for the first (and only) time after 4-5 year of being a PROoF volunteer/area coordinator. Last week I had to let him cross the rainbow bridge. He was worth every minute. He became known as Mighty Maxx due to his determination to keep up with his brother and sister disputes his back leg limitations. We will miss him.
