Rescue Story
We rescued Gizmo from PROOF 5 years ago after our beloved pug, Billy, died. Gizmo saved me from the pain and grief. He was 10 at the time and died this year just before his 15th birthday. It was devastating and I'm still healing. Gizmo was precious and sweet. He was mostly blind and deaf but could easily find his way to the dinner table when we were having a meal. He would come up and nudge your leg to say "I'm here, please share your dinner". I miss him every day.
