Abby’s story is a reminder that loving a pet means planning for their future. Found as a stray years ago, she was adopted by Ann, a woman who loved her completely. Before passing away earlier this year, Ann made sure Abby’s future was secure by asking her son Trey and Marisa to give Abby a loving home. They said yes without hesitation.
Now Abby is a treasured part of their family and a sweet daily reminder of Ann. She carries her toys around the house, greets the world with quiet loyalty, and when strangers arrive or loud noises startle, she calmly positions herself between her people – just like she did for Ann.
She’s proof that the love we pour into our pets doesn’t end with us.
