Your Pet's Story or Bio
Edmund's known history begins with him dug in underneath somebody's porch in Mukilteo. How did he get there? Was he allowed to roam and couldn't find his way home, or maybe he was just abandoned there? Some kind someone brought him to a nearby shelter where was treated for emaciation, cuts on his face and a scratched cornea. While in the shelter, his eye went from bad to worse until it had to be removed. We fostered Edmund during his recovery. Vet staff wanted to see him for a check-up and they cleared him for adoption. Foolishly, we left him there. But in a flash of recognition, we called and placed an adoption hold and went back for him the next day. Edmund is our cat. He's safe at home and living happily ever after with us, his dog whom he loves, and a kitten he helped raise.
