Rules

Entering the Contest:

Entry fee is $10 per photo.
Entry period is September 1, 2018 12:00 AM EST through September 30, 2018 8:00 PM EST.
Participants can enter as many photos as they want, but each photo has a separate entry fee and votes will not be combined.
Photos are to be of rescued / adopted dogs only, people are not allowed in the photo. Dog(s) must be clearly visible. All dogs must be depicted in a safe, humane and dignified manner.
Photos can be fun, happy, contemplative, sleepy, active, playful, enjoying life -- anything that others would like to see in a calendar! If your entry does not meet these suggestions, we will contact you to see if you have another photo.
Photos must be uploaded in full color, high-resolution (recommended 300 dpi), and large file size (1 MB or larger), so that there is minimal distortion when the calendar is printed. Please be sure that your photos are not blurry! If your entry does not meet these quality specifications, we will contact you to see if you have another photo. Files should be in .JPG format.
If you submitted a winning photo that is not quite large enough and/or the resolution isn't quite high enough, we will ask for additional photos of your dog so that we can make a collage for the calendar cover or featured month photo.
We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos.
By uploading your photo, you agree that the photo can be used in the Raising Aid for Dogs At Risk (RADAR) calendar and in other RADAR marketing or promotional materials, RADAR social media, and RADAR website.
RADAR reserves the right to remove any photo for any reason.
RADAR is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible. All donations are non-refundable.

Voting:

Each vote is $1, and voting will require a $5 minimum donation, which gives you 5 votes!

Winning Photos:

The First Prize winner will be the photo with the most votes at the end of the voting period, and will be featured on both the calendar cover and be featured on one of the 12 months.
Each of the other top 11 vote getters will be featured on one of the remaining 11 months.
The winners will be notified by October 7, 2018.
