Rules

Entering the Contest:

Entry fee is $10 per photo.
Entry period is September 1, 2019 12:00 AM EST through September 25, 2019 11:59 PM EST.
Participants can enter 1 or more dogs, but each photo has a separate entry fee and votes will not be combined.
Photos are to be of rescued / adopted dogs only, people are not allowed in the photo. Dog(s) must be clearly visible. All dogs must be depicted in a safe, humane and dignified manner.
Photos must be uploaded in full color, bright (outdoor photos work well), be high-resolution, large file size (prefer 1 MB or larger), so that there is no distortion when the calendar is printed. If your entry is low resolution, we will contact you to see if you have another photo. Files should be in JPG format.
We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos.
By entering, you acknowledge and give permission to Raising Aid for Dogs At Risk (RADAR) to use the name, story and photo of the dog entered in future various Raising Aid for Dogs At Risk (RADAR) publications, promotions, and materials, including the 2020 Raising Aid for Dogs At Risk (RADAR) "RADAR Dogs & Rescue Buddies" Calendar. Additionally, all decisions regarding the use of photo submissions are final.
Raising Aid for Dogs At Risk (RADAR) reserves the right to remove any photo for any reason.

Voting:

Each vote is $1, and voting will require a $5 minimum donation, which gives you 5 votes!
Voting period is September 1, 2019 12:00 AM EST through September 30, 2019 10:00 PM EST.

Winning Photos:

The First Prize winner will be the photo with the most votes at the end of the voting period, and will be featured on both the cover and be featured on one of the 12 months.
Each of the other top 11 vote getters will be featured on one of the remaining 11 months.
The winners will be notified by October 7, 2019.
