Ellie Mae is an 11-year-old Golden with a heart as warm as the sun she loves to sit in. True to her retriever roots, she adores being outside—whether it’s a bright summer afternoon or a snowy winter morning. If there’s fresh air, she’s happy. Ellie Mae has that classic Golden personality: loyal, gentle, and endlessly sweet, but also a little stubborn when things aren’t on her terms. She’ll happily follow a command… eventually, after she’s decided it’s the right time. Despite her independent streak, she is the definition of a loving companion. She greets everyone with soft eyes and a wagging tail, always ready for attention, belly rubs, or simply lying nearby. Ellie Mae may be getting older, but her spirit for the outdoors and her affectionate nature remain just as golden as ever.
