Mavis is truly a kitty of the people. Not only is he a volunteer kitty fire fighter, he has also saved multiple children and their pets from burning buildings with little regard for his own safety. Mavis volunteers at the local soup kitchen, hosts Afghan refugees, and regularly donates blood to the kitty red cross. While Mavis had a successful professional career as a professor of economics at a prestigious university, he now donates his time to underserved youth in junior achievement. Given his dedication to the local community, I see it only fit that he have his cute little face enshrined on a beer can.
