Jingles at age 4 was adopted in February 1994 after being named by a radio station in December 1993- he spent 4 months waiting for a furever home. He became a therapy pet and visited nursing homes. Bear, at 4, was adopted in August 2001 severely overweight. He lost 30 pounds to be healthy at 80 pounds. Once he lost the weight we discovered knee issues and he had three operations - he was the energizer bunny of dogs. Both dogs retired to Florida in 2004 and spent their lives enjoying the sunshine and family (human and canine).
