Because Buddy was a foster & then we adopted each other, we're still exploring our friendship. I thought opening doors was his greatest talent BUT it's not, HE'S A TRUE EMPATH & he appears to come by this naturally. In a room full of people, he immediately goes to the person who needs him most. Typically reserved neighbors, now stop me to say hello to him, on our walks. He'll put a paw on your knee if you're crying & he offers special 'paws on shoulders', hugs too. These gentle giants are SO often overlooked due to their size & quirks. Get past them PATIENTLY & you've got a WONDERFUL COMPANION, who loves kids, cats & endless snuzzles.
