As Precious's handler I would like to share her history and how we found each other. Precious was being peddled on the "mean streets" of Main & Hastings on the lower east side of Vancouver. Her "breeders" sustained their lifestyle by selling puppies. There were 4 in total. I was able to buy the 4 puppies and rehome the other 3. I kept Precious, we had an immediate bond. She has supported me through numerous physical and mental health issues.
Once I returned to the Island and realized I had Covid and my vet reported she was only 5 weeks , she has been like Velcro and never left my side. .I am happy to report she is thriving , very healthy and as smart as a wip. My loyal companion and saved my life. I am so grateful to everyone at OFP, Precious, family & friends. xoxo
