Kim (For Riley) Shaeffer

Riley was rescued from WTF in Napa at 8 weeks old. We weren't sure if we wanted another but we plunged into dog life like we always have. He was the best, most adventurous Giant on the planet. We had had big dogs but this was a Giant as he grew. Despite our pretty freaking active life, he was bored. He ate through two couches and a car. Ok, what do we do next....water. He loved water so much. Donner Beach unofficial dog area was the best times of his life. When it came to cancer, he didn't skip a beat, he enjoyed life. Even when his leg was no longer, more swimming and visiting office and clients. And when he crossed over the rainbow bridge, he didn't even make fuss then, put his head into a lap and went so peacefully. We will always love you big Giant man.
