A little more than 5 years ago, this beautiful little girl began her life story in the NICU, surrounded by incredible doctors, nurses, and so much love. Today, she is a thriving, joyful, loving, and remarkable 5-year-old—and I am so proud to call her my goddaughter. From her very first breath, she showed a strength far beyond her tiny size. Watching her grow into the bright, spirited, and loving child she is today has been such a blessing! I just cast my vote for this amazing NICU graduate. She is living proof that miracles happen, prayers are answered, and the smallest fighters often have the biggest hearts.
