Remo’s Rescue is a foster home-based rescue founded by Kari in 2017 in Carthage, MS. As a small rescue that is 100% volunteer developed and staffed, our mission is to rescue the abused, neglected, and abandoned animals in Leake County and the surrounding areas.
While in our care, we nurse these forgotten animals, helping them heal both physically and emotionally. Once they are ready to be rehomed, we work hard to make sure they enter a home that can give them responsible and caring ownership.
In addition, we partner with Northern animal rescues that take over foster care and help our animals get placed with responsible pet owners. Remo’s Rescue is a non-salaried 501c3 non-profit charity registered with the Internal Revenue Service and the Mississippi Secretary of State Charities Division.
