Bojangles came into our lives as a rescue dog with bright eyes, endless energy, and a heart far bigger than his skinny frame. Part Border Collie and part Australian Cattle Dog, he seemed born with a mission, even if he wasn’t entirely sure what it was yet. From the beginning, he loved people with his whole soul. At campgrounds, he trots from site to site like the unofficial mayor, greeting strangers, dogs, and even cats as if they’re lifelong friends.

When the fire crackles at night, Bojangles settles beside his favorite person in the world—his dad—watching him with complete devotion. But deep down, Bojangles believes he was meant for something greater. Every fluttering leaf and wandering squirrel awakens the sheepdog spirit inside him. Somewhere in his dreams, wide green fields stretch forever, and a flock waits patiently for him to herd them home.
