Meet Nala: a rescue found in Boone, NC the night before three feet of snow! She was curled up inside of a cardboard box behind a Tractor Supply store, covered in fleas and so skinny. Once we rescued and healed her up, she went from freezing and forgotten to the queen of the house in a heartbeat (and she knows it).

Now six years old, Nala is sassy, spoiled, and completely bonded to her favorite humans. She has mastered the art of selective affection, prefers her treats chilled (don’t ask), and communicates primarily through judgmental stares. She’s equal parts loveable and moody and is a true icon.

Despite her occasional attitude, Nala is the most loyal companion I could’ve asked for. She survived the worst and came out stronger (and fluffier). She’s proof that even the frostiest beginnings can lead to the coziest, sassiest, and most unexpected kind of love. 💕
