Gumbo came into PIPs as an extremely emaciated, sickly puppy with the worst case of hookworms the vet had ever seen. After many months and rounds of dewormer (not to mention puppy food), he's grown into a very happy, loving bub who loves his long walks, the flirt pole, Mom, sunbathing, and nose work. You can follow along on all of his adventures at @tullyandgumbo. Organizations like PIPs do amazing work in NC and Gumbo is a testament to all of the love and care (and money) they dedicate to their pups in need.
