Sweet Daisy was just rescued this spring after having a litter of puppies outside in VA. This sweet, gentle soul spent weeks hiding outside at her foster home before finally trusting humans enough to venture inside. She's on a long road to recovery and learning to trust, but she'll get there in time!

She now lives indoors with her many doggy and kitty siblings and loves them all! She learns to trust people more every day as she inches forward to get more pets from mom! She's even starting to let visitors pet her now too!

Daisy's family has sadly lost multiple dogs to cancer in the last few years and she swears they all sent Daisy to the family to help them heal. She embodies a different, favorite characteristic of each dog that was lost, from the crossed paws in the photo, to the desire to break out of her fear and let people love her, to the calm, gentle presence she adds to the house. Daisy makes it feel like they're all together again.
