Tell us about your pet and why they should win!
Gracie survived a difficult start in life, arriving on my porch starving and cold. I posted found-cat notices across North Carolina before discovering she actually lived less than a block away. I repeatedly tried to contact her family, but they never responded.
At the time, I already had a special-needs cat, Miko, whose medical condition was triggered by the stress of Gracie's presence.
Still, I couldn't bear the thought of Gracie being abandoned again. I decided to do everything I could to make a home for both of them.
Today, Gracie and Miko live separately in different areas of my home. They are both fiercely loyal, loving companions, and l wouldn't change a thing. Giving Gracie the second chance she deserved is one of the best decisions I've ever made. Sharing my life with her brings me overwhelming joy.
