Gio is not your average cat. I got him through a “clear the kennel” promotion for free, but he has turned out to be priceless. He acts more like a dog than a cat and he loves to walk on a leash and play with most dogs. His adventures have taken him near and far, including Umstead State Park, the mountains of Asheville, and the Last Frontier of Alaska where he braved the dark cold to see a beached whale! His skills include sit, shake, spin, and stand. He has also overcome the tragedy of being mute but still perfected the ability of cat cussing when he thinks his reward for his performances are delayed with a chorus of quiet chirps. When he’s not adventuring outdoors, Gio has a full time business as a biscuit maker and alarm clock.
