Sam Elliot came to us from IAR. The moment I saw those bushy eyebrows, I knew he was coming home with us! He has really long legs, and loves to run and chase squirrels in the backyard. Sam is a great hiking buddy, loves his daily neighborhood walks, and is a great traveler in the car. He loves chewing on antlers and toys, but leaves shoes and furniture alone. He is so smart- he knows if we are putting on shoes but don’t have the leash, then he isn’t going with us and will put himself in his crate! Sam is a great example of how foster homes, training, and loving homes can really turn a dogs life around . We are so glad we found Sam and Sam found us!
